Draft for owner and legal review before public launch · Updated August 11, 2026
This page explains the general practices of Tech Savvy AV & Security LLC (“Tech Savvy”). A signed proposal, service agreement, monitoring agreement, or other written contract may contain additional terms. When a contract differs from this general page, the signed contract controls to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy
We collect information that customers and prospective customers provide, including contact details, service addresses, project descriptions, account requests, contracts, invoices, and support communications. We use this information to prepare quotes, provide and support services, administer accounts, communicate with customers, collect authorized payments, maintain records, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
Payment-card and bank-account credentials are collected and stored by our approved payment processor. Tech Savvy’s website is designed to retain only processor references, payment status, and masked payment descriptions—not complete card or bank numbers.
We may share information with service providers when needed to operate the business, deliver requested services, process payments, provide professional monitoring, or comply with law. We do not sell customer personal information. Access, correction, and privacy questions may be sent to info@techsavvysecurity.com.
Payments and optional autopay
Available payment methods, due dates, deposits, installments, and recurring charges will be disclosed on the applicable quote, invoice, or agreement. Autopay is optional unless a signed agreement clearly states otherwise. Before activation, the customer will see the amount or calculation method, billing frequency, authorization terms, and the method for updating or revoking payment authorization.
Turning off a saved payment method or revoking autopay does not by itself cancel an underlying monitoring or service agreement, remove an outstanding balance, or change a contract term. Customers must separately submit any contract cancellation or non-renewal request.
Refunds and disputed charges
Refund eligibility depends on the work performed, equipment ordered or installed, manufacturer restrictions, custom programming, and the terms of the applicable proposal or agreement. Contact billing@techsavvysecurity.com promptly with the invoice number and an explanation of the issue. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method when practical.
Customers should contact Tech Savvy first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve billing or service concerns. This does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Automatic renewal, non-renewal, and cancellation
When a service renews automatically, its agreement will identify the initial term, renewal period, recurring price or pricing method, cancellation procedure, and any deadline for preventing renewal. The customer portal is designed to display the current term and accept time-stamped renewal, non-renewal, and cancellation requests.
A submitted request remains under review until Tech Savvy sends written confirmation identifying the result and effective date. Monitoring and other active services continue until the confirmed effective date. To request review, use the customer portal, email billing@techsavvysecurity.com, or call 985-402-2334.
